Fishermen are an important part of the world of Koraak. Because much of the land's ecosystem is composed primarily of islands and atolls, fish is a food source and commodity for the people inhabiting there. Since most fishermen along the coast live in poorer conditions, they must use what they have with low technology they stole from the black markets to fashion their equipment together. Large eels are a trophy prize that whoever is able to hunt one successfully is rewarded generously.
