Journey to the East Vol. II | Sina Chanthou

A young daughter of four siblings, Sina Chanthou was six years old when she fled her hometown. At the time, it was overrun by a coup of guerrilla fighters in the area, who took away her parents. The huts she lived in were set ablaze. She knew little of where her siblings were either. For days she meandered in the jungles looking for refuge close to the lake several miles away from her home. She would rest alone with minimal shelter until a family of three found her by herself.

They had one daughter, who became like a sister to Sina.
The mother gave Sina a patterned scarf to keep, and a flower, the lotus, for good luck after she turned ten. Throughout the years she grew up an orphan with them and left once she matured to the age of 24, now alone again on her own quest for adventure.

Introducing a new protagonist to the world of Journey to the East. Excited to start expanding on her story and character design :)
