Journey to the East Vol. II | The Heads of Abpsara

"Stories say these abandoned heads were built and mounted all throughout the jungle floor, possessing magical powers of some sort. No one knew why they were left here many years ago. They used to be lined and inlayed with gold on the exterior crown. The worshippers say it gave energy to those who prayed on the steps near the temple heads. During the night, thieves and pillagers would rob the tombs that lay deep beneath the heads' corridors. I myself was in need of some adventure too."
